Educational Philosophy
My philosophy of education is that each child is different and has different strengths and weaknesses. I believe as an educator it is our responsibility to give students the opportunity to practice each skill in a safe environment and where they can thrive. I want to become a teacher so I can make a difference in my future students’ lives. I want to be able to see them go from “I don’t understand that” to “I can absolutely do this and it makes sense.” I want to be the light in the darkness, a shoulder to cry on, and a role model for some of the students that are going through things nobody should have to ever go through. I want to help kids be their best selves and help them understand the material I will teach them in new and different ways.
